Easy/Tran^ŽOUTDOOR SURFACE MOUNT MANUAL TRANSFER SWITCHES, SINGLE CIRCUIT

The Easy/Tran Series manual transfer switches are designed for outdoor installation. This series will accommodate portable generators up to 7500 running watts and will control a single circuit of up to 30A. This page displays the Easy/Tran Series.

There is a slot in the bottom edge of the cabinet to allow the cord to be plugged in and the door closed, locking the cord in place.

"L" Version, shown on the drop down price windows have a pilot light.

The Reliance Easy/Tran^ŽSeries (NEMA 3R) transfer switches are ideal for outdoor installation in residential and commercial applications. These switches are easy to install and use. It is ingle-circuit control of farm buildings, irrigations systems, community wells, telecommunication substations, traffic signals, commercial garage doors, cell towers, sewer and water lift stations, septic pumps, industrial sump pumps, electric water heaters, electric heat and much more. Available with indicator lights, shown as suffix L in part number for each switch.

The rugged steel cabinet is gasketed and features a pad-lockable hasp and six combination 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch knockouts, one on each side, two on the bottom an two on the back. The power inlet inside-the-cabinet will accommodate the generator cord connecter with the cover closed. The double-throw (break-before-make) switch keeps the generators isolated from the utility line at all times. This eliminates the danger to back-feeding the utility and causing injury to repair crews as well as preventing utility power from feeding into the generator and causing damage or injury.

Raintight NEMA 3R Power Inlet Boxes are designed for use with Pro/Tran transfer switches, Panel/Link manual transfer panels and generator-ready load centers. The power inlet box may be installed indoors or outdoors, in the area where the generator is being used. Using one of the four combination 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch knockouts (one on each side, bottom and back), the power inlet box can be wired directly to the transfer switch or panel. The exclusive patented design provides generous wiring space and facilitates rough-in. If you require a circuit breaker at the inlet box, use the PR Series inlet box that includes a circuit breaker. Select a box that matches the maximum amperage of the transfer switch.
