  • Detailed Description

ASCO Transfer Switch Group - Automatic Transfer Switches - Enclosed - Series 7000 - Service Entrance
As the world leader in emergency and standby power transfer solutions, ASCO keeps your power on. ASCO, Automatic Transfer Switches and Power Systems safeguard data and telecommunications networks, industrial processes and critical installations from health care facilities to financial transaction centers.

Over the past 70 years, ASCO has pioneered every major product innovation in power transfer technology. And ASCO is committed to providing a full range of quality-driven products, backed by 24-hour nationwide service support.

ASCO Series 7000 Service Entrance - ASCO 7000 Service Entrance Series automatic transfer switches when critical power protection and a service entrance configuration is required.

The ASCO Service Entrance Power Transfer Switch combines automatic power switching with a disconnect and over-current protective device on the utility source. The power transfer switch meets all National Electrical Code requirements for installation at a facility's main utility service entrance. Service entrance rated transfer switches generally are installed at facilities that have a single utility feed and a single emergency power source. A circuit breaker serves as the utility disconnect and links are provided to disconnected both neutral and ground connections.

Standard, Delayed, Closed Transition, Soft Load, and Bypass Isolation configurations.

ASCO 7000 Series - Service Entrance - Transfer Switches - Product Features
Seamlessly transfers loads between acceptable utility power and onsite generation with virtually no voltage or frequency transients   Transfers power using proven ASCO Closed-Transition Transfer Switches (CTTS)
Automatically selects emergency standby transfer operation upon loss of utility power   Enables you to monitor and control Service Entrance operation using GUIs (graphical user interfaces) with user-friendly, pull-down menus
Actively synchronizes the onsite generating unit to the utility source by automatically adjusting the generating unit's governor and voltage regulator (analog or pulse width modulated outputs control the governor)   Allows you to activate protective functions using the touch screen (each function can be programmed to signal an external breaker and/or alarm signal, or just display the condition on the GUI)
Maximizes security with multiple levels of password protection   Contains protective functions on utility and generator sources required for ongoing parallel operation
Records and time stamps events and all changes to protective function settings   Provides digital inputs with the adjustable trip and reset time delays to control or monitor external devices
Conventional two-position transfer configuration, plus closed and delayed transition modes of operation. All configurations are available with either automatic or non-automatic control.   Independently qualified and certified listed to IEC 60947-6-1, CE marked (optional).
